I am overjoyed with the response to both the private fundraising phase and the public phase of the KIVA campaign. I have had family and friends from many areas of my life contribute to the loan as well as perfect strangers.
While fundraising I am also prepping new products for the Christmas season. I have just delivered a big order of notebooks to Blue Skies. I plan to stop by tomorrow to check out the display. I always love what Tina does with the notebooks. If you are local and you haven’t been lately, stop by and check out the store. Blue Skies has been my favorite gift shop since – well, forever. I am still honored that Tina, the amazing owner, sought out me all those years ago to sell my notebooks.
The rest of this week will be prepping books for my booth at The Refindery and I hope to get some uploaded to the website. I am not making any promises there – but I do want to get the shop open online by October 15th. Until then, if you see something you are interested in, just post a comment and I will make sure you get what you need!
Again, thanks for sharing the KIVA link – if you haven’t yet invested, please do. Just $25 means so much. Oh, and as of this writing the Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation is still matching all investments!
